Poulter Loses His Card

Ian Poulter failed to make the cut at the Valero Texas Open this afternoon. This week was his last opportunity to earn enough money to maintain his PGA Tour card coming off of a 10-week major medical exemption. Ian needed to win at least $30,624 this weekend but will now fall short.

Ian now must rely on sponsor's exemptions and Monday qualifiers to get back onto the tour full time. He's already scheduled to partner with Geoff Ogilvy in the Zurich Classic of New Orleans next week.

Good luck Ian. You're a fun player to have around. All the best.
